Earth-friendly Tips

Here are some tips that I found to be helpful in saving the environment; you can do them wherever you go. 

1) Around the House

• Turn off lights when leaving the room
• Turn off water while brushing your teeth
• Turn off and unplug all electrical devices when not in use
• Run dishwasher and laundry machine only with a full load
• Recycle and reuse at all times whenever possible 
• Buy and/or replace energy efficient appliances, windows, light bulbs, etc.
• While taking a shower only turn on shower to rinse hair and body
• Turn down heat or A/C when leaving the house

2) Out in the World

• Drive less; take bus, carpool, and/or ride your bike
• Pick up litter and don't do it as well
• Don't dump anything into any bodies of water
• Plant tree's and flowers instead of picking or cutting them down
• Play outside instead of watching TV

These may only seem little but they really do help! You don't have to do all of them but I encourage you to do the best you can
